Happy? We are ecstatic with our Nardini Eagle from World Bronzes.
The attached photo is of us just after our 50th wedding anniversary celebration and the dedication of our Nardini Eagle sculpture.
We retired to a mountain side just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in SW Virginia. Where the 60 mile view from our 2800 ft perch, which overlooks the Virginia and North Carolina Piedmont, is reminiscent of what “wing walkers” in the early days of aviation must have experienced. So we named the property “Eagle wing”, since eagles surly are privileged to the same sorts of views.
We named Our Eagle, “Homeward Bound”, since he has a fish in his talon and must be headed for the nest to feed the family.
We ourselves are joyous in our homeward bound journey at “Eagle Wing” and as the song says, “He will raise you up on Eagle’s Wings…..” What better reminder and depiction of our homeward bound journey than the Nardini Eagle. “Homeward Bound” was our 50th Wedding Anniversary gift to each other.
The pedestal stone is a piece of native stone that was torn from the mountain during construction. The concrete mounting portion of the pedestal was fashioned by two stone masons, who work at a granite quarry in Mt. Airy, NC, a town and quarry, 14 miles away, that we can see on clear days from “Eagle Wing”.
Thank you for being in business, enduring all the trials of business, and producing such an excellent product.

I want to tell you that i received the statue a week ago
friday. saturday we took it out to my parents. it was
for my father, who is 74. my mother knew he had wanted
one for years and never bought it. when she found out i
was, she wanted to pay for half. if she couldn't get it
for him for years,and she could have afforded it, forget
it. it was from my daughter and me only. he opened the
box very stone-face, but within an hour he was placing
it all over the place trying to find the perfect place
for it, the coffee table, the tv, and the fireplace
mantle, which would have looked great, but the base was
too big. a friend of his stopped by and he had to show
it to him. I have to tell you, it was the best feeling
i've ever had. the sculpture was absolutely beautiful,
and i would order from you again in a heartbeat, or
recommend you to everyone.
